Žurić i Partneri at the Spring meeting of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law in Washington


Firm’s partner Miroslav Plašćar attended the Spring Meeting of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law held in Washington between the 28th April and 2nd May 2015. The meeting brought together a large number of lawyers from all over the world and is considered one of the biggest and most important conferences for lawyers practicing internationally.

With almost 100 programs and more than 70 specialised panels on a variety of legal topics relevant for international lawyers and their clients the conference offered an unparalleled opportunity for exchange of knowledge and information on legal hot topics and developments on the global level. Our partner Miroslav Plašćar also participated in conference activities of several committees specialised in legal areas that are specifically relevant for clients of our law firm Žurić i Partneri.

Maja Komljenović joins Žurić i Partneri legal team of qualified attorneys


It is our pleasure to announce that on 22 April 2015  the colleague Maja Komljenović has been admitted to the Croatian Bar Association, thus joining Žurić i Partneri legal team of qualified attorneys.

Maja provides legal assistance mostly in the fields of labour, bankruptcy, pre-bankruptcy and banking law, but  significant part of Maja’s work involves also representation of clients in civil and commercial litigation.

We wish Maja a successful continuance of her legal career within Žurić i Partneri!

Žurić i Partneri contributed to the study of the European Parliament “Legal Instruments and Practice of Arbitration in the EU”


In February 2015 the European Parliament published the study “Legal Instruments and Practice of Arbitration in the EU”.

The study contains the examination of the practice and of the laws relating to arbitration in each Member State of the European Union and Switzerland, as well as an examination of the involvement of the Member States and the European Union in arbitration.

The study was commissioned by the Committee on Legal Affairs of the European Parliament to the Policy Department C: „Citizens’ Rights and Constitutional Affairs“, a research unit of the European Parliament.

Edin Karakaš, attorney-at-law in Žurić i Partneri, was invited and appointed by the Policy Department C as the reporter for Croatia.

Legal Instruments and Practice of Arbitration in the EU

Marko Andrijanić, Dino Simonoski Bukovski and Luka Vukelić joined Žurić i Partneri legal team of qualified attorneys


It is our pleasure to announce that the colleagues Marko Andrijanić, Dino Simonoski Bukovski and Luka Vukelić joined Žurić i Partneri legal team of qualified attorneys.

Marko Andrijanić graduated at the Law Faculty in Osijek. After graduation he worked as a trainee in a Law Firm in Osijek. From January 2012 to September 2014, he worked at the Municipal Court in Osijek as a court trainee and, after passing the Croatian Bar Exam, as a court counsellor.

Marko joined Žurić i Partneri in September 2014 and since then is engaged on cases in the field of civil law (real estate and law on obligation), enforcement law and litigation, as well as in projects in which he provides support in the areas of land regulations and contract drafting.

Marko is a student of postgraduate studies in the field of civil law at the Law Faculty in Zagreb.

Dino Simonoski Bukovski graduated at the Law Faculty of the University of Zagreb. During his studies he participated in an exchange program at the Ghent University, where he specialised in European Law.

Since joining Žurić i Partneri in 2011, Dino mainly advises in various areas of commercial and corporate law, energy and on capital market matters. In addition, he was involved in various due diligence assignments, finance projects and real estate projects. His work also includes daily counselling and representing domestic and foreign clients in litigation and other proceedings, as well as advising with regard to public procurement processes.

On 19 November 2014 Dino has been admitted to the Croatian Bar Association, thus joining Žurić i Partneri legal team of qualified attorneys.

Luka Vukelić graduated at the Law Faculty of the University of Split.

Since joining Žurić i Partneri in 2011, Luka mainly provides legal assistance in the field of commercial and company law, as well as labour law, but representation of clients in civil and commercial litigation proceedings also represents a significant part of his work. In addition to providing daily legal counselling in various fields of law predominantly to foreign clients, Luka is involved in large projects and transactions.

On 10 December 2014 Luka has been admitted to the Croatian Bar Association, thus joining Žurić i Partneri legal team of qualified attorneys.
